We collect information in the following ways to provide and improve our service:
a) Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your full name (first and last), email address, and a password. This information is used for authentication, account management, and personalization (e.g., greeting you by name).
b) Information We Receive from Third Parties
- Purchase Verification (Hotmart): To grant you access to the app, we use a verification system connected to Hotmart. When you purchase Simple Mockup, Hotmart securely provides us with your email address and purchase status (e.g., “approved,” “refunded”). We use this information solely to create an access record in our system, allowing you to sign up and use the app.
c) User-Generated Content (Your Designs)
- Your Privacy is Paramount: When you upload an image or design to create a mockup, that image is processed entirely within your web browser on your own device.
- We DO NOT upload, store, or have any access to the images you use to create your mockups. The entire mockup generation process happens locally. The final image is created on your computer, and you can download it directly without it ever being sent to our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Our Service: To create and manage your account, authenticate you as a user, and provide you with the core mockup generation functionality.
- To Manage Your Access: To verify your purchase status from Hotmart and ensure only authorized users can access the application.
- To Personalize Your Experience: To greet you by name and manage your profile settings.
- For Security: To protect against unauthorized access and malicious activity.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate our application. These services only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your data. Our primary service provider is Google Firebase, which we use for user authentication and database management (for purchase verification).
- For Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard measures, including those provided by Google Firebase, to protect your information. This includes secure data transmission (HTTPS) and secure handling of your authentication credentials. The connection with our payment processor webhook is also secured to ensure data integrity.

You have certain rights regarding your personal information. You may:
- Access and Correct Your Information: You can view and update your name at any time through the “My Account” modal in the app.
- Request Deletion of Your Account: You can request the permanent deletion of your account and personal data. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your user account and remove your access record from our database. To request deletion, please contact us at one of the email addresses below.
7. Children’s Privacy
Simple Mockup is not intended for or directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
